Chong Ko Hakka Noddle

Location: Kuala Lipis

The noddle stall situated at those 'medan selera'. When we came here, we were ready with the stall address and a map. Luckily, this is a small town and we drove around this town just to find this stall. Actually it is very easy to find the stall. When reaching Kuala Lipis, just look out at "Medan Selera" signboard, where there are many stalls located along the small lane. Furthermore, it is also near to the famous Tong Kok Hotel.

It is famous for their hakka noddle. The noddle was hand-made, thus the taste is different from those made by machine. Though the noddle looks simple, mixture of minced chicken and pinch of spring onion, it is very tasty. Also, it is served with fish ball as well.

We also ordered another dish from the stall besides this. It is cockles served together with two fried egg. We never saw this before in KL, and though it looks weird, but still it is nice as well. It just like those American breakfast, but the only different is instead served with bread and ham, it is replaced with cockles.

The last dish we ordered was fried "keow teow" mee. Nothing is special about this fried mee. However, we would admit the mee is a bit too oily for us. Hehe....
